Aah, I see that George Fitt was also an undertaker's coachman. Getting closer...

The 1881 may be James junior. On his marriage cert in 1885 Louisa is 22 and he is what looks like 21 but it is not clear so could be 31 which would make him born 1854 ish.
They had a son William and have found them on the 1911 census but William is 20 which would make him born 1891. So not same William, unless the first one in 1881 died. James was an undertaker's coachman so same occupation.

This seems to be the only James Langley married to a Louisa that I can find on a census, yet this is 1881, 4 years before their marriage.

It does however fit in with the baptism I found on the International Genealogical Index on www.familysearch.org, the Mormon site

Based on the little information you have given us, could this be your James??????

Some of you recently helped me to find James William Langley's marriage to Louisa Jee in 1885 in Walworth, Surrey. I now have the cert and James father was also James William Langley who is deceased. I cannot find any more about him in the census records except a possible in 1861 married to Emma. It says he was born in Saffron Walden, Essex about 1834. Now living in Newington, Walworth. No children though so not sure if this is James junior's father. can anyone find more about him please? Many thanks, Lynn
