Help with wills

Can anyone help please.
on a probate seach it offers will or admon
i know what the will is
but what dose admon mean
i look in dictionary but no joy.
any one know what i would recive if no will only admon

Admon is an abbreviation for letters of administration.

All to do with someone dying intestate - the court therefore appoints people to deal with his/her estate. Letters of administration will not contain as much detail as a will might.

Yes, by implication there is no will, so no indication as to how the deceased would have wished their assets to be distributed. The Administrator(s), often members of the family, are then obliged to follow the laws of intestacy when making the distibution.
