You should pick one thread or the other, Maria. Probably best to delete this one, because regardless of the indication that there is a separate thread, someone usually comes along and duplicates effort ...

"Reposting" is just duplication, which is contrary to the one post per subject rule.

I trying to help a lovely young lady who is planning to get married next year She would love to marry the same day as her Gran parents who are now sadly gone.She knows very little about them Gran was born about 1926 Maragaret Balfour Grandad James McGibbon they were married in Aylth Perthshire Scotland first child was born 1952.Thats all she knows Any suggestions where i can look for their marraige cert?
