Duplicate Entries on Tree

I have a number of relatives on my tree who have married more than once. In most cases they show on the Tree once only, with connections to each of their partners.
In two cases however, the person concerned shows twice on the Tree, with the word 'copy' beneath their first name. The two entries show one connection to one partner in each case.
I have entered these details in exactly the same way as the other -correct- entries by using Add Partner.
Can anyone advise how to eliminate these duplicate entries. The Help section says it is easy to do this yourself, but fails to explain how.

Neil,

I presume you mean your GR tree? if so its not very user friendly, I have had the same problem previously..........if you email GR and explain exactly what you want done ,they will remove and amend for you.

It is a "feature" of all tree probrams, especially if there are dual relationships, such as cousins marrying. Even FTM lists certain people more than once in some of its reports!

So, unless you want an actual mistake correcting, there is nothing to be gained by contacting GR.
