The marriage information I posted was an Extracted record....which you can check by looking at the IGI yourself.................

Had it been submiited I would have added a comment to that effect.

Thanks Ann - I'll try that.

Thanks also to Ricochet - I've actually noted those names down already as well as another couple so I'll see if I can verify them.

Looking at Pedigree records isn't something I usually do as I thought I'd been advised that they aren't necessarily relaible as they are from info put together by others that may or may not be correct. Is that not correct?

Possibility for Anne's parents' marriage..........you'd need to find her baptism to start the verification process

Mothers' names are not recorded on marriage certs in England/Wales......nor would the mother's name be on the Parish register of the marriage

I have found the marriage on Ancestry on 02 August 1827 between Richard Morris (b c1805) and Anne Mumford (b c 1808).

I'm sure I've been on there before and just clicked to find out their mother's names but can't seem to find this now.

Does anyone know what I'm talking of and can you please point me in the right direction to find this out?
