aaah, cheers ron, so you can only print large trees and not print them to file then.

I also have a pdf writer installed, and tried that, but with the same result, any ideas?

When you print to file you will be creating a file that cannot be opened or read.

The resulting file will have an extention endng .prn this type of file can only be printed not looked at.

Tried that, but it just seems to hide and show the windows start bar?

When you get print selection, try pressing F11

Hiya, I find it easier to see things on a 'flat page' rather than a moving tree, so I click on the print box, as it says to even though it can't give me a print preview. And I print to file to save a little bit of the environment, which works for smaller trees (family ones not real ones I mean). Once you get into the 'it's too big to print preview' situation this doesn't work though, despite going through all the same actions and giving a file name - nothing happens.
I only use the MS Office Image thingy, nothing fancy.
Anyone got another way of getting a soft copy of a tree please?
Thanks all
