if you use Family Tree Maker software and are linked to Ancestry.co.uk or .com you can search directly from your software. I 've found this to be extremely helpful. You don't need to type all the details into the search fields and the software has all the details about siblings, marriages etc to make the search more relevant. I've found hundreds of relatives this way.

Thanks for info chaps, I don't know if it's me, but I can never make any sense of Ancestry, only subscribed because my free trial ran out and I forgot that I had said would join after two weeks. So now lumbered with a useless expense.

It uses Ancestrys Data Base and offers 14 day trial.

I have just found this site, and are offering 33% off a years subscription. I have allready payed for three other sitesand wonder if anyone thinks it worth paying for this one too??
