Same happened to me just over a year ago. I didn't have any problems changing from XP to Vista.

Can anyone help me. My computer crashed yesterday and I need to purchase a new one. The old computer had XP Home but all new computers come with Windows Vista. I am told that many of the existing programmes that work with XP do not work with Vista.

My family tree is formed on Family Tree Maker 2005 - has anybody any experience with changing this programme to Vista?
