Does anyone know what has happened to the "Check Family Trees" link at the bottom of each page? It seems to have been replaced by a Live Web Chat or Gifts button.

I hope GR has not done away with this as I find the most useful utility on the entire site.

It was there this morning.

I can't say I have ever noticed the link but was it the same as the "Search Trees" link at the top of the page?

This utilty was entirely different. For myself I suspect many others, it is the prime source of contact between members to see who has uploaded people to their trees with the same surnames that members have in their own tree.

The search could be varied from the last 24 hours to infinity. Without this utility is almost impossible to do such a check and will make contact between members who are serious genealogists equally impossible.

Apart from the family tree itself, it was the only utility that really made this site viable.

I don't recognise your tab title but it sounds the same as:-

Many thanks for that, I have never accessed it that way before and could not find it. I always accessed it from a button and the bottom of each page which disappeared today. It's the first thing I check whenever I come onto the site.
