my grand father is Robert milton born 18/6/04 has a twin brother william their parents are thomas and emma nee savage lived in london, the 1911 census only shows the parents but doesnt list the children and i cannot find their names, how can i do this only show how many children living at that time

you can click onto full person search, then page down and click on show advanced field

this will allow you to then show surname "milton", district (same as district that you have found the parents in), then living with enter the full name of one of the parents as you have found them on the census

provided there are not any more people of exactly that name in that district then this should bring up the children

in this case you could narrow the search by entering e.g. dob 1905 +- 5 years as well

to get full info you would have to pay for the transcript / original image

of course the children may not have been living with the parents at the time of the census, or the parents you have found could be the wrong ones
