Hi Mayfield/Patricia

I do apologize for not replying to you both but I have been away.

I will make a note of the cemetaries you both gave and work my way through them.

Thanks again

Patricia

Try Camberwell Cemetary, Brenchley Gardens, Honor Oak, S.E.London. It is where my parents are buried and my ancestors before them

Hi Tetley,
To me there never seem to be much rhyme or reason to where people are buried around Lambeth and Wandsworth.

I lived in Brixton, Balham and West Norwood for many years. My in-laws and family lived in Balham SW12, which is actually part of Wandsworth.
Balham is quite small, however my parents were cremated at Lambeth Crematorium Blackshaw Road SW17, my Grandparents were buried in Streatham Cemetery Garrett lane SW17 and my in-laws at the South London Crematorium, Rowan Road SW16!

Best bet is to look on the Lambeth Council site for the Cemetery web addresses and drop them all an email. That’s what I did to trace a relative I knew was buried in the Hastings area.
Incidentally I think the Rowan road one is privately run so may not on any council web site.

Good luck
Mayfield

You're best bet is to look more in the area they lived in as a death is registered in the borough the death took place
