Are you talking about England & Wales or Scotland birth?

If English or Welsh then you need to find the reference numbers and then order from

Hi. I'm new to this website and am trying to trace my deceased father's relatives. How do I go about getting a copy of his full birth certificate showing his parents? I presume once I have his mother's details I should be able to search easier?
