trying to find my mum she married an francis alderton on 28.5.51 in downham market . last address i have 22, the witches little thetford cambs known to have 8 children maybe more, carol kaye,paula,nigel,richard,sally-ann,robert and me peter.please please can you help. peter

Peter, when was she living at that address? You can always try writing to the current resident, they may know something.

What was your mothers name ! I can see it was Smith -what was her christian name,what was her date of birth, when did you last hear anything at all to do with her.
Do you know if Francis Alderton is still alive ?
The more we have to go on the more likely we can help.

Do you know if she divorced your Father and remarried ? she had the middle initial D and the only match I have for that name is in Surrey and her age range is down as 55-59 so it cannot be her.
The one is Cambridge has the wrong middle initial so it may well be that she has re-married when was the last contact with her ? and when was she born ?

I posted details of a possible re-marriage - but now think, maybe not. There appears to be 2 births for this Heffer couple in 1971 & 1976 and the mmn is Alderton.

You need to give us a little more info if you need out help, which of you was born last ? when was you last contact with your Mother ? and do you know if she divorced you Father or not ?

hi!! i was last in contact 1967 thats when i was born i think carol f.e.k was born in 1951, kaye c was born in 1953, paula v in 1955 richard f in 1957, sally a in1961 and nigel p 1962 all in alderton robert c e sharman 1964 thats all i can make out from my papers i was also an alderton but on my papers patrick stone/benson was my dad born 24.9.45. i think carol and robert stayed with my mum and i know nigel was adoped not sure about the rest. thank you peter.
