Hi
I would like for someone to help me with information of how to find my great grand fathers grave. All I have is the district that he died in.

Get in contact with the council for the district he died in and ask if they have cemetary records.

If you post the details of the death I will look on the National burial index. Where was he living in the census prior to his death?

I have replied to Paul by pm

Elaine the discs hold burials for England and Wales up to 2005, but they are mainly much earlier burials . Some counties have much better coverage than others, you just have to be lucky

Click on my name and send me a message and I will look for you. i can look for a specific person, or just a surname in a village or town. I need a county because my geography isn't that good.
