maiden names

You alway put the maiden name, and as far as I know, searches will not look and any additional information

It is usual to put the maiden name for a woman.

This is what the searches find and I believe do not take into account the married name.

Might be a silly question , on my family tree do i put the maiden name on the main area or her married name, or does it not matter. do the searches look at the additional info at the bottom
