Funny you should mention that, Deb - my Mac goes funny when I'm sorting through my Hot Matches. I wish the system was simpler because I'm sure the clicking on a match, checking it, discarding it and then (if you've discarded it) having to go back to page 1 instead of page 8 or whatever it was I was up to is clogging up Firefox's memory or something.

I think they should just do it as a simple list, divided into sections headed with the tree owner's name, with the matching names underneath, then it could be all on one page, you would see the information easily and could get rid of all non-matches in one go.

Hi

Yes the so called hot matche's are a bit of a pain the only thing that is the same is the name's. And it does take a while to go through and delete them, as my computer seems to go on a go slow on that one so I just end up giving up

I only seem to receive "cold matches" - last week I received some which were my family, but I had been in contact with the member for years.

Recently I have received numerous hot matches with the names and birthdays od my ancesters matched wifh the same names and birthdays with people born in England or New Zealand and sometimes, Austrailia. The names and birthdays of my ancestors submited to Genes Reunited on my family tree all were born in the USA. What is taking place on Hot Matches for this to occur? It takes some time to go through all of these and
discard those that apparently posted in error. Thank you for your response. Bob Winborn
