Hi Deb,

I would give your other thread a "nudge", this way fresh eyes may se it and offer other suggestions???

I wouldn't give up........ it can sometimes only need 1 small little thing for it to fall into place.

Thanks Barbara

I have had a thread on tying to find no luck I have her brother's army records which give his childern, marriage and the person I am looking for dob all the others have came true but it is her's i can't find. So I just wonderd is it worth going down to the registar's and asking them or is it a lost cause

Thanks

I have one of my Anceter's DOB but can't Find it on any Gro ref: does this mean that she was not registerd or is it worth going down to the local office to see if her birth is there.

It was in 1901 and I understand that you did have to register birth's but also that their was the odd few that didn't.

Would the registar office have some records that are not on line or have I come to a end on this one?

Thanks Deb
