Family & Local History Weekend - Ashton, Northants

On the 17th to the 19th of July, the village of Ashton in Northamptonshire (near Roade/ Stoke Bruerne) is hosting a family history and local history weekend, called "Roots 2009"

Key attractions will include:

- Family history & research
- Talks and film shows
- Parish and census records
- Guided history walks
- Maps, photos, Memorabilia
- How to trace your family tree
- Visitors from around the world
- Barn dance and hog roast
- Riding display
- Open gardens

....and much much more

Venue - Mens Own rugby Club, Ashton (5 miles south M1 J15)There is no charge to attend the weekend (small charge for events where food is provided)
