I don't know if anyone has put this up already but you can get 20 free credits for Scotlandspeople if you use heraldmag in the voucher box on their site.

Here is the information I have been given- there is also a further 10 free credits if you sign up for Ancestral Scotlands's eletter.

In yesterday's Glasgow Herald supplement there was a section about 'Homecoming Scotland 2009'.

In it there was reference to free 20 units in 'Scotlandspeople'.

Log in as normal and go to section buy more, scroll down past the normal 'select number of units' box and in the voucher box type in heraldmag. You must register by 1pm on Saturday 27th and the credits are valid for 90 days.

Scotland's People is located at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk . A further ten credits is also available by registering at www.ancestralscotland.com .

Hi all

Being a canny Scot this was a tip I couldn't resist sharing! It is nice to get something for nothing for a change! Doing this hobby is not cheap!

There is also 10 free credits for Ancestral Scotland too.
