how do you search just address on genes, hard work on ancestry

Never used GR for census records as they do not actually hold any records at all.

Would have thought the problem would be worse than trying to find addresses on Ancestry.


Have you tried Findmypast?

not member , have join ancestry as half price.

You can do a free search on find my past which will give you enough information to find the general area on Ancestry.
EG Bullar Street Southampton 1901
Schedule House Street Civil Parish Registration District County
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

277 4 Bullar Street Southampton St Mary Southampton Hampshire VIEW
279 5 Bullar Street Southampton St Mary Southampton Hampshire VIEW
280 6 Bullar Street Southampton St Mary Southampton Hampshire VIEW
281 7 Bullar Street Southampton St Mary Southampton Hampshire
---------------------------------------------------------------------
On Ancestry enter the civil parish and put one schedule number in keyword.
result 17 1901 England Census
Then look through adjacent pages.
