Mayfield before you print the tree off - highlight it all and press BOLD and it makes all the print the same bold black. Irene

Wow, thanks Irene, I had no idea that was there!
Also while looking for the template I found there is a history button that brings up all old WP documents, that will save me ages searching for which folder I have saved a document in!

Elizabeth

The template is in effect a basic spreadsheet. column A has your details entered about halfway down the page, column B is set narrow as a spacer only, C has your parents added in the lines above and below the level of your entry, D is a spacer and so on across the page.

Should be quite simple to set one up using the blank Microsoft spreadsheet programme which I expect your computer has and save it as a template for further use.

I tried the "Help" and "General Stuff" link but as I said nothing happens-for me -just flashing arrows then nothing !!

Also the gemnes address given by Ron-which is still telling me the link is broken

Go to Help, and look for General Stuff. If you click on that, it brings up links for printing off three types of chart, Fan, Pedigree and Family Group.

You could try downloading blank forms from the LDS site (the Mormon Church). I'm fairly certain that that's possible.

So far I have been unable to open the link to print blank charts from the "Help" section-nothing happens !

Using the address given brings message "oops the link is broken " !

I thought to try Irene's suggestion but have not got "works" !!!

Has anyone downloaded the Free "Microsoft Works" ?

I think the one you can type on your own pc is really neat and tidy.
Go to Miscrosoft Works - Important household records - then family genealogy - there is a 5 generation family tree you can fill in and print up.
