Hello,
My Ancestry subscription ran out a couple of months ago and I did not renew it then because I was going to be away for a while. I now find that the price has gone up from £79 to £107.40 for the Premium. I think I read a while ago that you can 'bargain with them' is this right. Has anyone got a reduction?
I look forward to hearing from anyone who has.
Linda

Hi Linda

Ancestry were offering half price for all the packages but the offer ended 30th June, my membership runs out in August and I was undecided whether to forfeit two months membership, but I left it too late.

Maybe if you phoned them, they would negotiate a bit, worth a try.

Hello Marilyn,
Thank you for your reply. I phoned them but they would not let me have the 50% but offered 10%. I said no and she then offered 20% discount which I have taken. she pointed out that the new prices are for 3 different grades. The one I had apparently has been split into two. I now have more information abailable to be with this new one.
It pays to bargain.
Thank you one again Marilyn.
