Thanks for your help, unfortunately I am clueless about computers. I do know it accepts gedcom. Not sure how to export it, but I will try and read up on it now.
Take care

Assuming you have a family tree program on your computer, go to the bottom of any GR page and use the import/export Gedcom button. This will send you an email with a Gedcom file of your tree attached.

Once you have this file, use your family tree program on your computer to import the Gedcom file. Be advised this will replace any information already on your family tree program on your computer.

Do you have on your computer a family tree programme that accepts a GEDCOM ?

If so then just export your tree from GR.

Never done it that way round so no idea if it transfers all the notes.

Someone else hopefully will give you a better answer

Can anyone tell me how to copy my own tree to my pc. I want to keep my tree on genes reunited, but also have it on family tree. Is there a way to copy it so that I don't have to retype all the information. Thanks
