Aidan, to get a readers card you will need 2 pieces of ID, a passport or driving licence, and a recent utilities bill/bank statement etc.

Hi Aidan,

The best advice is - do your homework before you go! Study the NA website and catalogue, making a note of all the references you want to look up. This will save you precious time when you are there and enable you to look at more stuff. Kew can be a very bewildering place when you've not been before - and even if you have lol!!

seems a silly question, just wondering if anybody can help me, i am visiting NA next week for the first time, looking at army sign up papers for ww1 and possible Gt Gt grandparents information. what sort of things will i need to take, i.e dob info etc, any suggestions anyone?
