Most family tree programs allow you to disconnect a person from the "parents" then reconnect to someone else.

Well wouldnt this mean I had to re-add the 1000's names again in an offline program???

I am sure I am not the first this has happened to BUT..... happily plugging away generation after generation and suddenly realise I have skipped one! ie kids suddenly ebing shown as born to Grandparents.

How on earth do I fix this without deleting and re-adding 100's of names?

Thanks
Yvonne
