Only divorce records up to about 1930 are at the National Archives after that,
You apply to
Her Majesty´s Courts Service,
Decree Absolute Searches,
Room 2.03,
First Avenue House,
42-49 High Holborn,
London WC 1V 6NP

I think from what others have said it is quite expensive i.e. £40 for a10yr search.

The national archives site should have some info about how to get divorce records

are there any websites that has details of divorces,
We are talking 1940s onwards.
Just want to find out if Gt AUnts hubby did divorce her when she disappeared
