If you are unsure, you can order the cert from the GRO and only put the grooms name on the order or vice versa.

Depending on the year there are between two and four marriages to a page.

I think I have found a marraige I need and before I send for the certificate,am I right in thinking that if the page number and the vol number are the same,that it's th right marraige-----puzzled as not sur if bride was Betsey or Elizabeth and don't want to waste my money!!
