Transfer of data from tree to tree

Many thanks - at least I'm reassured there isn't a readily available easy option. Back to the treadmill....!

Unless the other tree owner is prepared to send you a GEDCOM file of the information, the I am afraid it will have to be done manually.
Even if you have a GEDCOM file, you will need an offline programme to merge the file into your existing file.

Many people have been extremely helpful & opened their trees.
How can I select & transfer the data once double checked for accurate link to my family tree? At present I'm adding relevant parts of information to my tree manually. This is really time consuming & I'm sure there must be another way that I'm ignorant of.
