Do you have access to Ancestry as I believe they were going to put this on their site

Just checked on Ancestry
UK, Crockford's Clerical Directories 1868 - 1932

Seem to have a few listed - 1868,1874,1885,1898,1908 and 1932

Oh dear typical problem with Ancestry - just checked on image and no one with that name is showing but is indexed as being on that image - so could be very difficult to find the proper image

1885 listing is for a William Stewart Fossett
Dunaivon,Steyning, Sussex

1874 seems to be a man with middle name of Fausett

1868 image 259 of 904 - no Fossett listed - ancestry is picking up words beginning with Fas****

1898 image 617 of 2253
William Stewart Fossett
Acton-Turville Vicarage, Chippenham

1908 image 1854 of 2430
William Stewart Fossett still at Acton-Turville

1932 biography - image 458 of 1496
William Stewart Fossett

Hi Dawnie, is it worth putting his name on here to see if anyone can find him? If you know the area your Fossett came from you may be able to contact the diocese/church where he served.

Just a thought.
