No, it's always been the case - I used my FMP credits on the 1911 census as soon as it opened.

I didn't think findmypast's credit could be used for 1911 census. Have the rules changed?

Sarah, dont buy the credits, go to ancestry.co.uk and get a free 14 day trial. You will have access 24/7 to all the census except 1911 and lots of other stuff like WW1 pensions and so on.

I am thinking about buying soem credits so that I can looks at census records online. I feel cheeky getting help off others all the time.

I would be useful though to know how many credits each record takes up? ... to see if it is worth the hassle.
