Hi Steph,

The application form is available to download the Ireland GRO website.

Can I ask how you are able to get one of these forms?

Is Ireland different from here, where we can search for the entries on free bmd and use some of that information on the form?

Thanks steph

There shouldn't be a problem, we ordered the birth cert for my wife's grandad with only his name and dob.

Why not ring and see what they say +353 (0) 90 6632900

Hi I am trying to order my grandmothers birth certificate and have recieved an application form from GRO Ireland. On the application form the sections that must be completed i cant answer. Does anyone know what i can do. I only know her DOB and full name and sort of where she was from but the application form wants address of place of birth and Mothers Surname. My Gran has now passed away so i cant ask her.

Thanks,
