Sorry to hear you can't log in to Ancestry. Just click on "Forgot user name and password" and they will send you the details. Chances are you are entering one or the other incorrectly.

Have you tried looking for births on the local reg office sites?

Thanks ladies, Freebmd dosn't go late enough for my two, and since paying my dues to Ancestry, have never been able to log on

Is there any way that I can look up births by mothers maiden name.

I ask, because I have two Smith cousins who I can't find. I can't remember Christian names, but Mother had an unusual maiden name.
