Thanks for your help!
Albert John Coley was married to Elizabeth Forster, I dont know who John Coley was married to. not yet.
I have just found out that Albert John emigrated to new Zealand in 1955 and he was born c 1888.
What he was going to do at 67 yrs of old I am not sure!.
I am now going to try and trace his death in the burial listings.
I didnt know the date of the crossing so its a bit late as by 1920 John Coley was dead.

I am looking for a John Coley and his son Albert John Coley b around 1890 which is calculated from his marriage cert to an Elizabeth Forster in Newcastle in 1920.
His father John was the deputy comissioner of the Cape Mounted Police.
Wether this was in South Africa or a Cape somewhere in America I am unsure. (Information as fathers occupation on marriage cert. He was also deceased.
Cannot find a birth record for Albert John or a christening.
I suspect he was born overseas or he was born under his mothers maiden name of which I dont know.

I belong to the basic Ancestry site and it comes up with a incoming passenger list for a John Coley into Southampton dont know the date etc and any other info is blanked off.
I cannot afford to join the worlwide subscription of another £155 and I wondered if any one out there belonged and could look it up for me.
I have even tried googling John Coley's name but with no success.
Albert John in 1920 was a mariner, what sort I have no idea.
