I may be asking a really stupid question...

I am trying to order a marriage certificate for my gt gt uncle and on the GRO website it is asking for the date of the marriage which i don't know; is there any way i can find this out?

The gentleman in question is Patrick Hoban and the details i do have are as follows

Marriage is registered in the third quater of 1919 in Liverpool between Patrick Hoban and Sarah Kilcoyne.

Am i being daft?
