Is there an easy way of keeping topic answers without having to copy and paste. Some replies to answers are very useful to keep on file. tks.

If you find something of interest on a thread and you wish to keep... at the top of the thread page you will find a purple "bookmark this"...then click on.

On the left hand side of the screen you will see "bookmarks" this is where you will find your bookmarks for future reference.

I hope this makes sense...

No, not really. Linda does have a useful point, but, if tomorrow she came along and deleted her post, what'ld you have then?

So bookmark them, but also copy and paste them. Paste them into a file called Thread-Info.txt or whatever. Then you'ld have them all together, and could also "find" text like "WW1", "grandad" or whatever to locate the thread in your file of threads.

Thanks for your help. As you say, its better to keep a separate folder.

Many thanks
