Hi Debbie

Glad you are pleased.

But I am more than happy to send any family member a photocopy of any wills I have, free of charge.

I check ebay every now and then looking for old documents relating to my family name, however, whenever I see a Will I always check GR to see if the person is in anyone's family tree as it would be fab to actually own an original Will or some other document (look for "Wills" in the "Paper & Ephemera" category in "Collectables").
So far I've had some fantastic responses from people I've alerted to items (see comments below) - perhaps others might take time to do the same when they are browsing ebay?? It gives me a real buzz when I receive replies like those below!

"Thank you so much for letting me know about these documents. I was the successful bidder and was so pleasantly surprised when I received them that they actually relate to my grandmother's brother so a great find. Your kindness in letting me know about these documents is very much appreciated."

"I didn't win Ebenezer's birth certificate (though did get all the information from it thanks to you :-). But I did win his wife's birth certificate, which has details of their wedding and all their childrens birth dates and the death dates for the children who died before Ebenezer. Also won Isaac's (brother of Ebenezer) and Ebenezer's will. He left a clock to his eldest daughter and everything else to his eldest son Edward. Isaac divided his possesions more interestingly, between his late wife's sister, his father Isaac, brother Ebenezer and Richard. Thank-you so much for your kind thought and deed, as without that I wouldn't have found the information of the children or the 2 generations I've been able to go back from Ebenezer and his wife."

"First of all thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. I am now immensely grateful as first of all it forced me to do some frantic digging to verify whether it could indeed be my ancestor.........and indeed evidence the line went all the way back to a brother in law of Robert the Bruce... The will itself arrived yesterday and at nearly 200yrs old it is in fact a priceless artifact to the amateur family historian. My mother is nearly beside herself!!! My deepest gratitude"
