Army Personnel Centre

Historical Disclosures
Mail Point 400

ring them up and ask for a form to be sent.

It is £30 unless the widow applies. My mum is still alive,so she signed the form and we applied in her name,so they were free. It takes a few months for them to come

This website explains it all

Thanks Linda,
Is it only the spouse that can apply for free or can it be their children?

Hi Bonnie,

Children can apply as well but only the widow can get them for free.If you go onto the website that Linda mentions you can print off the order form plus a next of kin form.My husband applied for his fathers ,it's just a case of stating what your relationship is to the person whose records you want,
