Hi I have found that some of them have one child with their name written in English, so it may help some people at least.They probably never thought that the census would be looked at again.

I was searching by street names and was surprised to find so many not even transcribed in Irish .....just an initial ......or just a question mark!!!

I was browsing through the 1911 Irish Census the other day and found some written in IRISH!

So obviously some Irish speaking people have submitted their Census forms in their own language...Oh joy!
