I received the death cert for my 2 x gt. grandpa William Knight (shoemaker) who died 5th March 1853 in Budworth, Cheshire.

It states that he 'hanged himself in a fit of temporary insanity'.

Any suggestions as to where I should look for more information as this is intriguing me.
