Question about Registry Office marriages

I think most marriages are registered in the quarter they took place (you sign the register on the day of the marriage). It is mainly births that can be registered in the following quarter as you have 6 weeks to register a birth. |

Kath is correct. Marriages are always registered in the qtr in which they took place. |
