Please can someone tell me how to start a family tree for a non relative. I would like to put the tree on the GR. site so that I can refer back.
Hope this request makes sence,
With many thanks to all who offer help.
Margaret.

I think this a good idea.
Open another account for free with their basic details and away you go.

Why not use a software package such as FTM? (Family Tree Maker)

You can add unconnected trees to your main file or create as many other individual trees as you want.

If you add it to your own tree then it will upload to GR as a single gedcom despite the fact it is unconnected to your main tree. Something you can not do on GR manually.
