Have you tried your browsing history?
Click on favorites, then the history tab, you can then select the day and see all the sites you visited.
Most computers have it switched on by default and hold records for a couple of weeks, so unless yours is set to clear history after each session, it should still be there.
Good luck.
Mayfield.

Many thanks,

Just goes to show what happens when you get so involved you lose all track of time. I'd been searching most of the evening and found that it was nearly 1AM so switched of quick.

Certainly not Findmypast - their credits last 3 months or 1 year depending how many you buy.

Amount £ 5.00 ( 500 credits ) Would you like our occasional 1901 census newsletter and updates? I have read and agree to the terms and conditions

This is the same as GR Gold,I think.

Hi - the thumbnail arrangement sounds like findmypast.com or the offshoot for the 1901 census - I usually go onto findmypast and then follow the link for the 1901 site. Hope this helps!

Hello,

Late one evening last week I came across a site that let you search for free then showed a thumbnail of the image of the information and that you had to use credits to view (and download) the image. You had to buy credits at 500 for £5.00 which lasted till they were used up or seven days, which ever came first. I started to make notes of what I wanted to view, but now I can't remember what the site was and it being late I forgot to bookmark the page in my browser. Just thought that somebody on here might have used the site and can remind me what it is.
