Why bother? Get yourself a decent program such as FTM and it does it all for you.

Thanks Irene, After a bit of searching i have found the chart on Works.

Thanks S/girl for the URL's. i knew GR had some charts somewhere but could not find the link on site. I have used the family group sheet before but would prefer to type as I make mistakes!!

There is one on most pc's - 5 generations and you can type in your ancestors. Look in Works, important family records where you will find the tree. Good luck Irene

Hi all,

Please can anyone tell me where I can get a free family tree chart online. I thought there was one available on GR but I cannot find it. Also i would prefer a word doc rather than PDF as I wish to type on it rather then write!! Possibly a 6 generation chart ,but can use a four.

I will be out for a couple of hours but will return to any answers.

Your help is always appreciated
Sandra
