Thank you Maid Marion.
I'll take a look and see if I can get advice without having to broadcast to all and sundry. It's not that I'm being possessive; I just want to be sure before I share.

I MAY have unearthed a piece of info that seasoned researchers have been looking for for ages?
Problem is, I don't know what to do next?
I am not 100% certain of its merit, so I don't want to discuss the details on the message boards at this stage. Just in case it gets pounced on and presented as fact. We all know this can happen. . . . but I am relatively new to genealogy and I don't have enough experience to know how to go about authenticating my findings?
Plus, I am currently living abroad which makes the challenge doubly difficult!
The location is County Durham and the time is 17th century, mostly the end of.
Does anyone know of a person, or place, I might contact, who might be able to look at what I have; tell me if they think it has merit and maybe point me in the right direction.?
