l have the name Busvergus or Busvargus on my tree....as a first name. Does anyone know what it means please?

It probably comes from a surname further back in the family.

Put this into google:-

Busvargus+name+origin

Then look at the first result that comes up.

Aparantly Busvargus means "house at the top of the wood" in the Cornish language.

Thank you Kath. Actually the family come from Devon...so not a million miles away!!!Perhaps we originated in Cornwall.
