The Birmingham Records Office couldn't find a birth for Grace Winifred Footitt or a marriage for Walter Slight Footitt and Annie Elizabeth Hunt. I think Annie probably had Grace before she met Walter and may not have registered her and they never married. On Eveline's birth certificate it says the mother is Annie Elizabeth Footitt (Hunt) so is it legal to say she was married?

This suggests Walter remarried.... Edith Reason 1903 & had 2 more children with her before he died in 1908

Sorry this was to let the people know who helped me a couple of weeks ago with Grace's birth and the information you have found is correct. Walter Slight married Elizabeth Lampard, Emma Jones (both died) and Edith Reason but not as it seems Annie. All the children were registered but not Grace who was my Grandmother which is strange unless she wasn't his. Thanks for looking.
