Can't find death entries

Hi All

Just wondering if some kind person could help me with this please, I have been looking on free bmd and can't find a death for two of my ancestors ;

John Robert Masterman born 1881 Newcastle
James Masterman born 1885 Newcastle

Johns last child was born in 1921 and James last child was born in 1930 so it would be after then.

Any suggestions as to why I can't find them listed ?

If you look at the coverage the records only go to about 1930.

Ah I see, thanks for the replies.
I don't have childrens marriages yet, they had quite a few kids between them !
I don't have a William no x

So far checked 1939 to 1949 nothing yet will carry on for a bit ubtil I go out will let you know

You can apply for the certificate with that ref

I have now checked 1922 to 1955

The only James who comes close is

James H Masterman aged 66 Droxford 6B 227
Dec 1953

perhaps check if the area seems right!
