Free BMD Searches

	Hi Does anyone know where else I can search for bmds apart from Free BMD. Am stuck on a few marriages and death records but I don't think they have been put on free bmd yet. (Also, preferably free !) Many Thanks Marie x

	Marie, what years are you looking at? Freebmd is pretty good up to 1925 or so. Have you exhausted all possibilities, such as name variations? Not sure of another equivalent site. If stuck, put details on here. Jan

	You could take up Ancestry's offer of a 14 day free trial. They have all births and marriages up to 2006 transcribed. Deaths are transcribed up to about 1915 and then from 1984 to 2006. In between these years you have to check qtr. by qtr. and year by year. Kath. x

	If the records arent on FreeBMD then put some names on here and those of us with subs to other sites may be able to help
