the local library or records office for Worksop will probably still have the electoral rolls

you will need to google them to find out

some records offices will do simple, quick look ups such as this for free, it is worth e-mailing them to ask, otherwise there will be a charge, or you could go to the records office yourself

my nan was born in claypole, in a house owned in the family for well over 150 years, for some reason some of the family moved to south africa for several years (reasons unknown yet but relative was probably given land to farm after fighting in war) anyway when she came back as a child still she was meant to live at 1 elms rd worksop in 1931, but was sent o scotland instead. how can i find out who lived in the address at the time as it's after the census but can't find electoral roles back that far? anyother ideas of searching?
