Trying to find my grandfather William Rivett Gelfand born 1879 in Canada. He was in Liverpool on the 1911 census living with my grandmother and had my mum in 1912. I have searched the deaths records for him but he is not there, does this mean he did not die in the UK?? My grandmother was already married to another man in Sheffield, she then left William and went back to this man with my mother as a small child. Help!! I really need to find out what happened to William |
